Enjoy breakfast and drive to the scenic hill top monastery that will be the starting point of your trek. Your trail will vary in difficulty with some places having elevations of 1200 to 1500 meters. Your trail will head north from the monastery. Go on your trek on steep hills and through high mountain terraces. Pass by lush cheroot and orange plantations and pine forests. Visit the Myin Ka village of the Palaung tribe and afterwards continue on to the villages of Lwe Saung and Kon Lwin, both scenically located on the mountain range. A delicious local-style lunch will be prepared for you by your trekking team in one of the villages. Then continue your trek down the valley to the east where many Danu and Taung Yo tribal villages are located. Enjoy the scenery of fields of rice and seasonal crops. Late afternoon, arrive at Tha Ma Kham, a Pa O village, and conclude your trek for the day. The whole trek takes about 7 hours (35 km). Enjoy dinner and overnight at the house of the village head.
Have an invigorating Burmese breakfast and get ready to trek across vast farmland cultivating mountain rice, maize and vegetables. On your way stop by the pottery village of Kan Pa Ni. Halfway through your trek, stop by a Danu tribal village for a delicious homemade lunch. Continue your trek across the valley passing by farming villages, beautiful pagodas and monasteries. Finally, arrive at Wah Gyi Myaung, a Pa O village located 1,600 meters above on a mountain. The whole trek takes about 7 hours (35 km). Enjoy dinner and overnight at the monastery of this charming village.
Have breakfast and go eastward for the last segment of your trek, mainly dominated by steep ascents though tropical forest and then gradual descent. The trail will be mainly on high mountain terraces dotted with farms and plantations. Trek through dense forest areas to arrive at Khaung Daing hilltop village. The whole trek takes about 5 hours (25 km). Enjoy a farewell lunch at a local restaurant and board a boat to reach your hotel.
